The following classes will be offered:

Ages 6 to 8 ($80.00)

Life Down Stream

Fridays 2:30-3:30pm, EHS Room 202

Teachers: Cameron & Eli

Enjoy a time of exploration outdoors and indoors! We’ll be exploring our backyard Hess Creek and the fascinating world of watersheds. Come learn about the plants and critters that live there, how to look for them yourself, and how it all comes together. Every watershed tells a complex story and leaves a mark on the world around it. In this class, you’ll discover how water, land, plants, animals, and people are all connected—and how what happens in one part of a watershed can affect everything downstream.

Ages 9-11 ($80.00)

Chemistry

Wednesdays 3:30-4:30, EHS Room 302

Teachers: Hannah & TJ

Get ready to discover the chemistry happening all around you! In this hands-on course, students will explore the science behind the materials, reactions, and everyday phenomena they encounter in the world around them. Through fun experiments and activities, students will explore matter, atoms, elements, chemical reactions, acids, and bases, and see what happens when chemistry gets put into action. Along the way, students will build scientific observation, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills while discovering that chemistry is everywhere.

Ages 12-14 ($80.00)

Cell Biology: It's a "Cell"-ebration!

Wednesdays 2:30-3:30pm, EHS Room 225

Teachers: Ava & Eli

Join us as we journey deep into the microscopic world of cells! In this class, we will open new horizons beyond what the naked eye can see. We will see mitosis in action, see our own cells, extract our own DNA, and so much more. This class will help students think like scientists, execute lab procedures, and discover the wonders hidden beyond our senses.

Ages 15-17 ($80.00)

Anatomy & Physiology

Mondays 11:00am-12:00am, EHS Room 203

Teachers: Ben & Taylor

In this course, students will be introduced to human anatomy and physiology through hands-on experiments. We will cover six major organ systems. Students will have the opportunity to explore these different systems through clinical applications such as learning to blood type and take blood pressure. The overall goal is not only to teach students about the major systems but also introduce them to the career pathways relating to the systems they will learn. Get ready to lean all about the human body and begin to explore future careers in healthcare!
