Semiotics, Church and Culture; Semiotics and Future Studies; Preaching as Story; and Leadership in the Emerging Culture, Doctor of Ministry (DMin) third-year students and graduates, mark your calendars!

The Portland Seminary Doctoral program invites you to join other SCC/SFS/LEC/Preaching dissertation students and graduates for an Advance with Len Sweet in March 2025!

Pursue further reflection with Len Sweet on topics relating to Jesus, church, culture, semiotics, and the future. Reconnect with cohort peers, and forge new relationships with other members of the Tribe of Issachar.

Date: Sunday, 4:30 p.m. PST – 12:30 p.m. PST, Tuesday, March 9-11, 2025

Location: Sanctuary Seaside on Orcas Island

Who: Alumni and ABD students and their spouses, only

Participation Limited: The advance will be limited to a maximum of 20 alumni and their spouses. First-come, first-served! Register early to secure your spot.

Single Registration: $1,200
Couples Registration: $1,900

Lodging at The Salish-Seaside Escapes or Smugglers Villa Resort, Sunday and Monday nights
Six meals: Dinner on Sunday, breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Monday, and breakfast and lunch on Tuesday
