Refund & Cancellation Policy

  • Full refunds are available if a participant withdraws on or before February 1, 2024. Please note that a $25 administrative fee will be retained due to credit card processing fees.
  • Course withdrawals after February 1, 2024, but more than 7 days from the course commencing, will be refunded 50% of course fees. Course withdrawals within seven days of the course commencing are not eligible for any refund.
  • Programs may be cancelled by University Recreation due to reasons such as those listed here: Low enrollment, inclement weather, staffing complications, no-shows, logistics issues, etc.
  • If University Recreation cancels a program for any reason, participants will be offered a full refund.
  • If a participant does not show up for a program they are registered for, no refund will be provided.
  • Occasional exceptions are made through discussions with the Director of University Recreation
  • If a participant has a family or medical emergency, University Recreation will review their case and assess whether or not a refund is an option. Notice must be provided in advance of course, if possible. University Recreation reserves the right to request a doctor’s note or evidence of the event.
